Taormina is one of the Sicilian tourist centers of international importance. It is known for the beauty of its natural landscape and its monuments, a favorite destination for intellectuals and politicians, but also by ordinary people, it is situated on a hill at 206 m above sea level.
It seems suspended between rocks and sea in a unique setting for variety and contrasts, with the famous ancient theater, the small streets that branch off from the central course and the square with the famous belvedere overlooking the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna, in a postcard panorama.
Opposite the town stands the island Bella, also called “pearl of the Mediterranean”.
